Tofu Finance operates as a credit representative and finance broker. We do not provide credit directly but assist customers in finding suitable finance solutions from our panel of lenders.

2. Services Provided

Tofu Finance provides the following services:

• Finance brokering for cars, boats, motorcycles, and equipment
• Vehicle sourcing and procurement services
• Import services for overseas vehicles
• Finance comparison and application assistance
• Credit advice and recommendations

3. Application Process

When you submit a finance application through Tofu Finance:

• All information provided must be true, accurate, and complete
• You authorize us to conduct credit checks and verify your information
• You authorize us to submit your application to lenders on our panel
• Applications are subject to lender approval and assessment criteria
• We reserve the right to decline processing an application at our discretion

4. Fees and Charges

Tofu Finance may receive commissions from lenders for successful loan applications. These commissions do not affect the interest rate or terms offered to you.

Any fees for additional services (such as vehicle sourcing or import services) will be clearly disclosed to you before you agree to proceed with these services.

5. Credit Checks and Reporting

By submitting an application, you:

• Consent to credit checks being conducted by us and our panel lenders
• Understand that credit enquiries may be recorded on your credit file
• Authorize the disclosure of your information to credit reporting bodies
• Acknowledge that default information may be reported if you fail to meet repayment obligations

6. Responsible Lending Obligations

Tofu Finance is committed to responsible lending practices. We will assess whether any credit we recommend is suitable for you based on your financial situation and requirements. We will not recommend credit that is unsuitable or unaffordable.

7. Loan Agreements

If your application is approved:

• You will enter into a separate loan agreement directly with the lender
• You are responsible for reading and understanding all loan documentation
• Tofu Finance is not a party to your loan agreement
• All queries regarding your loan should be directed to your lender
• You have cooling-off rights as specified in your loan agreement

8. Vehicle Sourcing and Import Services

For vehicle sourcing and import services:

• We act as your agent to locate and purchase vehicles on your behalf
• All purchases are subject to a separate service agreement
• We do not guarantee the condition of vehicles unless explicitly stated
• You are responsible for inspecting vehicles before final acceptance
• Import services are subject to Australian customs and compliance requirements
• Timeframes provided are estimates and may vary due to factors beyond our control

9. Website Use

When using our website:

• Information provided is for general guidance only and not financial advice
• Calculator results are estimates and not binding quotes
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue website features at any time
• You must not use our website for any unlawful purpose

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
